Course Structure & Learning Expectations

Our courses are designed to help you improve your English in a practical, communicative and supportive environment, with clear structure and expectations from day one.

How our courses are structured
All courses are organised by level and follow a syllabus based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Lessons focus on speaking, listening, reading and writing, as well as grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation, with an emphasis on real-life communication.

Classes are delivered in small groups (maximum 15 students) using a communicative and task-based approach.

What we expect from students
To get the best results from your course, students are expected to:

  • Attend classes regularly and be on time
  • Participate actively in lessons
  • Complete classwork and homework
  • Respect teachers, classmates and school policies
  • Use English as much as possible during lessons

Progress and assessment
Student progress is monitored throughout the course through continuous teacher feedback, classroom performance and level checks. Where applicable, students may complete formal assessments or end-of-course examinations.

Visa students
Students enrolled in long-term programmes must meet attendance requirements and complete a recognised end-of-course examination in line with immigration regulations.
